Coronavirus (COVID 19) Prevention and Safety measures at NVCA as of 3/27/2020

Updated: Mar 28, 2020

As the number of cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) increases, we are taking precautionary measures and making changes that will be adjusted daily as the situation evolves.

The majority of our patients have immune problems and/or are on immune suppressant medications, we need to help everyone stay healthy and safe.

We ask that you please reschedule your appointment if:

1) You have traveled within the last 14 days to one of the CDC-reported countries that have a Level 3 Travel Health Notice (this may change frequently, check the CDC site https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/after-travel-precautions.html) or to New York State or New Jersey.

2) You have been on a cruise within in the last 14 days.

3) You have been in direct contact within the last 14 days with people that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or that have the symptoms of COVID-19, or people that may have been exposed to the virus in the USA or abroad.

4) You currently have an acute respiratory illness, including symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath.

If any of these apply to you, please remain home, call your primary care provider and call our office to reschedule your appointment, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

We have increased our cleaning procedures and use of appropriate protection for all staff and patients.
